Homemade Cornbread

 
Ingredients -
3/4 cup Bread Flour
1/2 cup Cornmeal
4 tablespoon White Sugar
1 tablespoon Powdered Milk
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
2 Eggs
2/3 Cup Whole Milk
1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 cup Fresh or Frozen Corn Kernels
Nonstick Cooking Spray
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

2. Place a 10-inch cast-iron skillet in the oven while preheating the oven.

3. Place the first 6 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

4. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the next 6 ingredients.

5. Remove the cast iron skillet from the oven.

6. Generously spray the skillet with non-stick cooking spray.

7. Pour the batter into the pan, and bake until the top is golden brown.

8. This will take approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to stick a toothpick in the center and if it comes out clean then it’s done.
